These are families who hardly maintain social distancing at this period of Corona Virus pandemic, as they live in buildings with up to eight (8) different families living opposite each other( popularly known as “Face me , I face you”). They share one facility which made it almost impossible for them to isolate. We observed social distancing, however, it was very difficult to get them to do that as well. We could only try our best to encourage them to maintain some distance while handing over the food stuffs to them. We went from home to home in other to avoid over crowding.
They were thankful to IAA for coming around and educating them on Abuse as it is predominantly high in such communities. Flyers were shared to them for as many of them intend to get back to IAA after the exercise. It was a great pleasure to feed 40 families as the unceasing smiles on their faces was a thing to cherish.
