What is counseling? An opportunity to open up in our safe hub about domestic violence, rape and all forms of sexual abuse with the aim of healing. After a traumatic experience which is often overlooked or covered in our society, counseling provides both comfort and direction on the best steps to take towards restoration and justice. Taking counseling is a brave choice and it is a step that we appreciate you for taking. Counseling is confidential as we respect your privacy.

Is the service confidential?

In the bid to make you to feel comfortable, safe and supported we respect your confidentiality. We acknowledge that this helps you to build trust with your counselor and open up as much as you would like to. However, there are certain instances where confidentiality may be broken:

*Where there is an order by a court of law of competent jurisdiction.

*Where any life may be in danger.

*Where both parties agree that it is best to break such confidentiality

*Where the Counsellor has the impression that you may endanger your life or the life of another person.
